Call Of Duty — Warzone Season 5 — Verdansk FC

We launched Season 5 of Warzone with just two tweets.

The season opened Verdansk FC's stadium, landing right as the European football transfer window closed. So we signed the most expensive footballer in the world—Paul Pogba, whose Manchester United contract was ending—to the club. No transfer fee.

He teased an announcement with a single emoji and the football press bit. United fans thought he'd signed. Then he told 7.5 million followers his next chapter was a club inside a video game. From those two tweets: 60+ articles on both sides of the pond, 114 million reached, and not a single negative story.
